Head of states ride along EXPO territory
President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev took for a ride Prince Albert II of Monaco on an electrical car along the territory of the world specialized exhibition Astana EXPO 2017. Photographs from the visit of the Kazakh leader of the Principality’s pavilion were published by the press office of Akorda, EXPO2017.com website reports.
"During the visit to the National pavilion of Monaco, the head of state was presented with expositions devoted to the problems of the energy transition to the “green economy”, as well as demonstrating the best practices applied in the Principality. The President of Kazakhstan got acquainted with the “Reflecting the Future” installation, the project layout for the extension of Monaco territory, the "Green laboratory" section and other expositions, including a solar-powered bicycle,” reported in Akorda.
At the end of the visit to the pavilion of the principality Nazarbayev made an entry in the Book of Honourable Guests and showed Albert II the National pavilion of Kazakhstan "Nur Alem”.
“Here, the leaders of the two countries got acquainted with the method of underground uranium leaching, an interactive layout of the thermonuclear reactor "Tokamak“ and other expositions devoted to the culture and history of Kazakhstan," in the press service informed.
The Principality of Monaco in its exposition focuses on the intellectual approach of implementing projects in the country in terms of environmental awareness and ecological behavior. The theme of the pavilion is “Reflecting the Future". Among the exhibits in the pavilion of Monaco at EXPO you can see a flying on solar energy airplane.
